Lesson 8 – Quality
I am sure we have all had someone in our lives say to us “do it right or not at all” well, that person may well have been me!
We need to do the right things, and then do them right.
Doing things right requires time and patience. It can tempting to strive for big weights in the gym, more volume in your training, large squad numbers and big profits.
We know what the right things to do are (most of the time) but are we doing them right.
Learn to squat well and you’ll eventually squat more weight; learn to accelerate well and you’ll eventually accelerate faster; find and develop great coaches and the squads will eventually grow in size; understand your business plan in detail and eventually you’ll start making more profit.
Doing the right things right, allows them to grow.
A WORD OF WARNING. Proceed with caution; more is not always better, better is better. We can effective or we can be efficient. These are rarely the same things.
I’d always rather complete 3 things well, than 10 things averagely.
Effectiveness > Efficiency
